Yemeni Armed Forces has reportedly attacked Ben Gurion Airport near Tel Aviv in Israel with a ballistic missile.
According to Israeli newspaper Yedioth Aharonot, which referenced emergency service sources, the blast left at least seven people injured.
Israeli media released footage showing the exact moment the ballistic missile, allegedly launched from Yemen, made a direct hit on the main terminal.
The detonation reportedly triggered a powerful chain of explosions and a shockwave that could be felt up to 50 kilometers away.
Several nearby structures, such as the Beit Rivka Institute, sustained damage from the blast’s force.
All flights in and out of Ben Gurion Airport have been suspended, and train services in the surrounding area have also been brought to a halt, according to local reports.
Various videos and clips capturing the incident from multiple angles have surfaced on social media platforms.

Yemen does not recognize Israel as a legitimate state, and has no formal diplomatic relations with it. The country has historically supported the Palestinian cause and opposes Israeli policies in the region.
The Houthi movement, which controls much of northern Yemen, considers Israel an enemy and has explicitly threatened Israeli interests, especially in response to Israel’s actions in Gaza.
This animosity has grown stronger in recent years, with the Houthis framing their stance as part of a broader resistance axis aligned with Iran.
How Israel and its ally the US will respond to this attack remains to be seen. Many in the West fear that Donald Trump is on the verge of launching a war against Iran and its regional allies, including Yemen, especially since the US has previously carried out missile strikes under Trump’s orders against Yemen.
This would mark a departure from the promises Trump made during the US election campaign, where he pledged to end wars around the world and not start any new ones.
